Today I wore my boldest red lip to work. Normally, I’d save it for special occasions, but something inside me whispered, “Why wait?”
At first, I was nervous — worried it was “too much.” But by lunchtime, I noticed people smiling at me, and I caught my own reflection… I smiled back.
It wasn’t really about the lipstick. It was about choosing to show up for myself, without permission. Sometimes the simplest acts become powerful statements: I deserve to take up space.
Lesson of the day: Don’t wait for a reason to celebrate yourself — you are the reason.
